The 58th International Art Exhibition, entitled May You Live In The Interesting Times, will be held from 11 May to 24 November 2019 (pre-opening 8, 9, 10 May). The title is an expression of English long erroneously attributed to an ancient Chinese curse, which evokes periods of uncertainty, crisis and unrest; “Interesting times” precisely, like the ones we are experiencing.
