A walk for solidarity around Venice alleys
39th edition of Up and Down Bridges, set for Sunday, April 2nd, 2017, the traditional non-competitive race around the lanes, alleys and bridges of Venice.
Several folk groups put on their performance either in Saint Mark’s square or in the smaller open spaces along the itinerary, creating a jubilation of colours and sounds that leave happy memories in everyone.
Schedule:
09.00 am – Holy Mass in S. Mark’s Basilica -hymns performed by Coro Improvvisando
10.30 am – Start from Piazza S. Marco – full route
10.30 am – Start from S. Lucia Railway Station – short route
12.30 pm – Prize giving ceremony for the largest groups in S. Mark’s Square
1.00 pm – Parade and prize giving of Folk Groups in S. Mark’s Square
3.00 pm – Closing of the event
