The 59th International Art Exhibition will take place from 23 April to 27 November 2022 (pre-opening 20, 21 and 22 April), curated by Cecilia Alemani. The exhibition, which takes its name from a book by Leonora Carrington, proposes an imaginary journey through the metamorphosis of bodies and definitions of the human. There are three main thematic areas: the representation of bodies and their metamorphoses; the relationship between individuals and technologies; the bonds that intertwine between bodies and the Earth.
