We stayed in this beautiful serene hotel in July 27 -29, 2003. It was our first trime to visit Venice. My best friend Anita showed us around and it was one of the best trips of our lives. Villa Maravege is a dream place. The setting is perfect. Staff are welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is just wonderful! We will definitely come back and stay in this wonderful hotel the next time we are in Venice!

I have been trying to get accommodation here ever since I first visited Venice about twenty years ago. This is the first time I have been successful and I am delighted. This is an oasis in the jewel that Venice is. How many places in venice can you sit beside a beautiful garden as if it was your own? The staff are fantastic. Friendly and helpful I hope to return many times.

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The rooms are beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful and the relaxing gardens unlike anything else in Venice. As for breakfast .... fantastic! Many thanks - we will definitely stay again!

We have just had a lovely week at your hotel in Venice and would stay with you again. Rooms clean,good beds,well kept. Breakfast and service by staff all excellent.Only minor irritations are pigeons on tables at breakfast, the need for a better English news channel on TV and the need for some milk in rooms when making tea. I mention these as you asked for full feedback but I will definitely like to go back to Villa Maravege ! Many thanks.

I had a short stay 20/7 till 22. I do like your place and staff was very friendly. I did not like the smell of smoke still hanging in my room nr 8. The previous guest must have been a real smoker. I hope you do have non smokingrooms too. IF so I will be back. Greetings Helen Belovics

Thank you for providing a wonderful spot of tranquility in a busy city. We spent several pleasurable hours reading in your lovely garden rooms, relaxing after a busy day of sightseeing. All your employees were helpful and courteous, and the generous breakfast was a perfect start to each day. We enjoyed our room, as well. We are anxious to return to Venice and spend additional days at your charming location.

This charming hotel is the icing on the cake to any trip to Venice. Lovely setting, quiet and peaceful, with courteous, charming staff and excellent service. Open your shutters in the morning to a view of a tiny section of the Grand Canal and a gorgeous garden - it doesn't get much better!

The Pensione Accademia, nov 10. Great hotel and location, very clean and tidy rooms and staff very attentive. Just remember the quieter rooms face the lovely garden at the rear, as although the canal views are good, it does get noisy from 6am onwards. Would go straight back at the first opportunity.

A charming hotel, with extremely helpful, and friendly staff, and a better location you could not find. I was stuck in Venice, due to bad weather at home, and the staff at the hotel made this unexpected event stress free, and enjoyable. Thank You Everyone!

The staff always make or break a hotel, and the staff in this pensione are exceptional - charming, warm, courteous, helpful and friendly, yet never obtrusive. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the gardens a delight and it is excellently placed as a sightseeing base. What more can I say, the best place to stay in Venice. Will we return, of course we will! [NB: pack a good book unless you are wanting to practice your Italian, all 100+ TV channels are in Italian or voiced over in Italian] :)

We have stayed at Pensione Accademia on 4 occasions. Unquestionably, it is our favorite hotel in Europe. Rooms are comfortable, Staff is exceptionally friendly, multilingual and helpful. Breakfast on the patio is delightful. We will return and encourage all who read this to stay at Pensione Accademia. Pensione Accademia e un pensione straodinario! Godetelo!!

We stayed at the Accademia in July 2011. For the three days we were in Venice, it was extremely hot and humid. It was a pleasure to return to our cool air conditioned room and then relax outside in the shade in the lovely garden. We very much enjoyed breakfast outside on the terrace with the many birds, and the lovely sounds of the boats on the canals. Absolutely wonderful. Would return again for sure. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved visiting Murano and Campo Santa Margarita.

Our group of 3 stayed here 3 nights in May 2012. Facility and staff were great. We could walk everywhere we wanted but were also only 2 water taxi stops from Saint Marks. Location allowed us to easily find some more local oriented eateries... particluarly the Taverna San Trovaso.

Staying at pensione Accademial contributed highly to make our stay in Venice perfect: very lovely room & garden, friendly staff , peaceful & convenient location. We will come back and recommend it!

My wife and I stayed in your lovely hotel in Venice for one week this May. We felt like we were being treated by one of your own family members. The service was always prompt and courteous and very helpful to us especially in making dinner reservations. Your breakfast food was always fresh and delicious and made starting out each day in Venice for us a real treat. Our room was always kept impeccably clean. the perfect hotel in venice.. quiet but very close to accademia,vaporetto etc, well decorated with beautiful antiques, wonderful garden with many flowers and resting areas to relax after shightseeing, very good breakfast and perfectly clean. very helpful stuf. A lovely hotel in a wonderful location. Secluded garden, excellent breakfast and very helpful and friendly staff. It is close to all the main sites and yet it is in a quiet and pretty area of the city. I would definitely recommend Pensione Accademia.

Such a lovely little jewel of a hotel next to the Grand Canal. The staff were so helpful and friendly and made me feel quite at home. The grounds and terrace must be beautiful in the summer and the breakfast sets up the day. This is my first time in Venice and I would recommend anyone to stay here.
